Аннотация
Статья представляет собой комментированный перевод памятника средневековой ирландской литературы под названием «История основания Кашела и благословление короля». Текст, который сохранился в единственном экземпляре в манускрипте TCD H.3.17 (XV век) относится к королевскому циклу и к нарративной традиции о Коналле Корке, полулегендарном короле Мунстера и основателе династии Эоганахтов, доминирующей на юге Ирландии между V и X веками. В статье рассматривается синопсис истории, возможная датировка текста, механизмы легитимации власти Эоганахтов в Мунстере, сакрализация скалы Кашела как политического и религиозного центра юга Ирландии, а также система вассальных отношений между королем Кашела и некоторыми подчиненными ему королевствами. Автор демонстрирует, что произведение носит пропагандистский характер, используя мифологические и библейские мотивы для легитимации власти Эоганахтов и обоснования существующего политического устройства средневекового Мунстера.
