Двенадцать апостолов Ирландии

Аннотация

Христианская традиция в Ирландии, наименее романизированном регионе Европы, вплоть до англо‑норманнского завоевания сохраняла некоторые уникальные богословские интерпретации, культы и обычаи. Среди них выделяется представление о двенадцати апостолах Ирландии, проходящее сквозь целый пласт источников, однако практически не описанное и не исследованное. В данной статье поднимаются вопросы о происхождении, развитии и исчезновении этого культа, не имеющего аналога в материковой Европе, в контексте политических и культурно‑интеллектуальных процессов, повлиявших на его развитие.
